Preliminary Exam: IBPS Clerks Recruitment Preliminary written exam consists of 3 sections; English language, Numerical Ability and Reasoning. The total number of questions given in this exam is 100, one mark for each and time duration for the exam is 1 hr. Negative Marking is applicable to each wrong answered question i.e.,1/4th marks assigned to that question. This preliminary written exam questions pattern is objective type.

Main ExamIBPS Clerical Recruitment Main Exam Pattern contains 5 sections and 40 Marks for Each section. The total marks for IBPS Clerks Common Written Exam (CWE) is 200 marks and time duration is 2 hrs. The Common Written Exam (CWE) Questions Pattern is objective type and there is a negative marking for each wrong answered question. The Pattern of IBPS Clerical Common Written Exam Sections is Reasoning, English Language, Numerical ability, General Awareness (with Special reference to banking Industry) and Computer Knowledge. The candidates need to qualify each section based on the cut off marks of the organization.
