Bank of India (RBI) is the Central Bank of India which empowered to regulate,
control and inspect the banks in India. This article is to discuss or to give
information about the RBI Grade B Officers selection procedure and also about
the written exam patterns of this recruitment. RBI conducts written Examinations
in its Recruitment process. RBI Officers in Grade B(General) Recruitment has two phases
of written examination, one is objective type and another one is descriptive
type. We provide both Phases exam patterns and related syllabus of RBI officer
Grade B recruitment process. We also explain about the recruitment process or
selection procedure of RBI recruitment. Every organization treats the written

Selection Procedure/Recruitment Process of RBI:
RBI
selection procedure for Officers in Grade B(General) Recruitment has three phases. They
are Phase-I is Written Exam (Objective type), Phase-II is Written Exam
(Descriptive) and Phase-III is Interview. The candidates who qualified in
Phase-I Written Exam will be invited for the Phase-II Written Exam which
consists of three papers. The qualified candidates in Phase-II written exam
will be invited for the Personnel interview. Final selection is based on the
Phase-II written Exam and Phase-III. So, the candidates need to get good score
in both Objective test and Descriptive test of RBI recruitment. The Aspirants
must have to know about the Exam Patterns and related syllabus completely.

Exam pattern of RBI Recruitment Procedure:
Phase
–I: RBI written exam for Officers in Grade-B(General) recruitment is
Objective type which is conducted through online. The online written exam pattern
consists of 4 sections; General Awareness, English language, Quantitative
Aptitude and Reasoning, each section has same number of questions and 50 marks
for each section. The time duration for the Phase-I Written exam is 3 hrs and
total marks allotted for this test is 200 marks. Negative marking system is
applicable for each wrong answered question in this written exam i.e., 1/4th
marks of that question. The question pattern of the online written exam is
objective type.

Phase-II: RBI Phase-II written exam is
descriptive type. This phase – II Written Exam Pattern of RBI is it consists of
three papers, each paper is for 100 marks and time duration is 3 hrs for each
paper. This written exam (descriptive type) pattern three papers are Paper-1 is
English language, Paper-2 is Economic and Social Issues and Paper-3 is finance and
management. The syllabus of each paper they will give in the official
notification of RBI Officers Recruitment. Check out the exam pattern and

Descriptive test and prepare well. The Paper-1 is set only in English, but both
Paper-2 and 3 will be set in bilingually in Hindi and English.
