Staff Selection Commission (SSC) Recruitment for Stenographer Grade C & D
starts with the invitation or official notification from the company for online
registrations to their recruitment. After successful completion of the
registrations the Staff Selection Commission conducts the written exam in the
scheduled dates as they decided. The Written exam results will be released
within 30-45 days after completion of the exam. The candidates who were
qualified in the written exam will be invited for the Skill test on Stenography.
The final section is based on both Skill test and Written Exam.

Written Exam pattern of SSC Stenography Grade C & D:
The
Staff Selection Commission’s recruitment written exam pattern for Grade C &
D Stenographer is objective type. The written exam of SSC Stenographer Grade C
& D Recruitment consists of 3 parts; Part 1 is general intelligence &
Reasoning, Part 2 is General Awareness, Part 3 is English Language and time
duration for the exam is 2 hrs (2hrs 40 mins for PH). The total number of
questions given in the written exam is 200 1 mark for each question i.e., 200
marks. The negative marking system is applicable for each wrong answered
question i.e., 1/4th marks assigned to that question.

Skill Test Pattern:
The
Staff Selection Commission stenographer recruitment skill test for to check the
candidate’s skill on stenography. The test is conducted on computer and its
challenges are different for Grade C and Grade D posts. This skill test will be
conducted in English or Hindi and this is based on your selection at the time
of registration. The dictation will be given in 10 minutes in English/Hindi at
the speed of 100 w.p.m for Grade C post and 80 w.p.m for Grade D post. Time
duration for Grade C post test is 40 minutes and Grade D is 50 minutes.
