Civil Services Examination Selection Procedure: Civil Services Examination consists of three
phases; they are preliminary Examination, Main Examination and Personnel
Interview. The candidates who are qualified in preliminary examination will get
chance to apply for main examination. The candidates who are qualified in main
examination will be invited for the Personnel Interview. The final selection is
based on the main examination and Personnel Interview.

Civil Services Preliminary Exam Pattern:
Civil
Services Preliminary Exam consists of two papers Paper-I and Paper – II, 200
marks each. Both Papers Exam pattern is objective type and time duration is 2
hrs for each paper. Paper – I is on General Awareness and Paper-II on English
Language, Reasoning & Metal ability. The paper-II of Preliminary
examination will be qualifying paper with minimum 33% marks. The Civil Services Preliminary Examination is like a
screening test. The candidates who qualified in this Preliminary Examination
will get admission for the Main Examination. The candidate must have to attend
both paper- I and paper –II of Preliminary Exam. In case of absence of any one
of the papers the candidate will be disqualified. The Exam Pattern and related
